When God says to cast your cares upon Him, He really does mean it.
This isn’t a conversation of how rough or tough things are, but it is one of discovering a weight that can be lifted.
When a good friend tells you, “Don’t worry about it – I’ll handle it,” do you let them cover your back, or do you worry over it? Trusting a good friend comes easy. That’s what God does for us when He tells us to cast our cares upon Him (I Peter 5:7). He willingly takes care of the heavy lifting while we watch His handiwork and increase our faith in Him.
That’s what God did for me – remove the weight, increase my faith, and deliver ultimate peace. Thank You, Mon Dieu (My God).
