Look for the Lord while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. – Isaiah 55:6.
Sunday was a quiet day, and the word Inspiration wasn’t exactly the word or feeling that came to mind. But, as the day progressed, the Lord caused me to feel a moment of refreshing reset.
God began to set things in motion.
My husband asked if I noticed how peacefully quiet it was outside today and if I wanted to walk to the end of our driveway with him (our driveway is pretty long, haha!). The walk activated a moment of inspiration, and I took to my kitchen to finish my coffee prep that I’d begun just before going outside.
As I sat to enjoy an evening coffee over HGTV, The Lord began to give me His inspiration and motivation within. I felt an incredible sense of inspiration – to do something, to BE… to make an IMPACT.
God directed me to grab my calendar planner, and to jot down a few goals for the next few days. I felt like my inspiration from God was to be righteously organized in order to inspire others – women like myself. I was motivated to make a difference – in my personal life and for what God has inspired me to for others.
For me, this day was about really seeing things better – to see things from a righteous God-perspective. In doing so, I will be pleasing to the Lord, and I will be able to walk in purpose in a clear mindset as God would have me to.
As the day drew to a close, I came to a better understanding of why God’s inspiration is of critical importance, and my desire to inspire in God’s way increased even further.
So, as I walk into this new day, I am looking to inspire in God’s way and to be a proper influence. I am inspired to do.
Lord, help me to honor you in my gifts and purpose. I look to inspire and influence Your way. And I am gracefully inspired by You, O Lord, to do those things that You have set before me.
Blessings, O Lord.
