Waiting on the Lord produces His righteousness

8“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

– Isaiah 55:8-9

So, if waiting on the Lord “renews our strength (Isaiah 40:31),” then why is it that we so readily and anxiously move forward without considering His plans? I guess it’s because we think we know better🤷🤦.

Waiting on the Lord will produce a righteous outcome.

And, when we wait, the path forward and the resulting outcome will produce rewards bigger and better than we ever could have imagined.
