Today I encountered an old man, whom I will call “The Grocery Store Preacher.”
I observed as he joyously walked around the grocery store lifting the spirits of individuals, sharing good words and always looking for another to inspire.
I smiled and thought how even in the smallest form, he is doing what God called him to do – sharing God’s word and making an impact in the lives of others in his unique way.
Later, I pondered how we all can make a difference in small ways, even when we don’t believe our small interactions make a difference.
But it can.
Our actions and our lives can make a difference in ways you can never imagine. God has given each of us the opportunity to make an impact. And we can.
“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;” – Colossians 3:23 KJV.
When we put forth our work in this way, God will always respond to it by bringing about a great result. With God in mind, put forth your best effort, and watch as He brings about a harvest within you.
