If it had not been for the Lord on my side,
Where would I be? Where would I be?
I’ve come to realize that the Lord is always – and has always been – on my side.
As I continue to walk in humble submission to Him, I learn even more about His unending love. He’s been good; He’s been kind. He’s been the kind of God that cares for my every need. He challenges my weaknesses and beckons me to serve Him all the more. He gives comfort, guidance, wisdom, and goodness.
When I look upon Him, I know that He is love. In Him there is no failure…no mistakes. He is a God of abundance, the author and finisher of our faith (Heb. 12:2). I look to Him for supplication. I eagerly await His affirmed outcome.
I am ultimately thankful to my Lord God and Savior for keeping me. He has never let me down – even when I have been afraid. He affirms my trust in Him, and further proves that I can place my comfort and cares in Him, for I KNOW that He loves me, and has prepared a special purpose and place for us.
God, I LOVE You, and I completely and wholly DWELL IN YOU.
