I doubted God today, but at the end of the day, these were the words God shared with me:
“Keep your trust in the Lord, even when you cannot see the outcome.”
I spoke them out loud.
KEEP YOUR TRUST IN THE LORD, EVEN WHEN YOU CANNOT SEE THE OUTCOME!
I’d already moved beyond my moment of doubt, but realized and remembered the significance of my earlier thought – an outcome different from God’s promise.
Early in my career, I worked for a company that did a lot of team-building. Many of the exercises focused on building trustful relationships through effective communication, teamwork, and leadership; often, in many cases, we had to trust the words of our teammates to lead us to effective and victorious outcomes. In other words, we had to trust someone else’s guidance and not rely upon our own independence, thought process, or individual efforts.
This method can be applied to our relationship with and trust in God. God is the builder, the orchestrator; He sees and knows the plans. We often say, “Lord, I trust You.” When we submit to His leadership, we also commit to trusting in Him to give us direction and to trusting Him in those things that we cannot see. In other words, we must trust what He is telling us to be true, and as an active participant, we must move with precise action!
God’s words to us will always be true – trust the word of The Lord that has been given to you!
Be encouraged; be strong; and stay faithful to God’s promises. He will always be there for you!
