As you reflect on your loved ones and your journey through the hard and challenging places of life, remember that God has planted a sweet Lily of Peace, one reflective of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as a measure of hope amid the storm – one that will bloom at just the right moment in your life.
I went to give this girl a turn today and found the most beautiful surprise – a Peace Lily readying herself to bloom. This surprise was incredibly special, as it has been nearly three years since her last bloom. The moment of joy that came over me upon finding this was so overwhelming! This means so very much to us, especially as we honor the Lord and reflect on my Mother-in-Love in third year of her passing.
Wait on the Lord, and He will renew your strength. You shall mount up with wings as eagles. You will run and not be weary, and you will walk and not faint. Wait, I say, on the Lord (ref. Isaiah 40:31).
You may be experiencing or have experienced a season of waiting, but while you waited you continued to water, grow, and nurture the seeds that God has given to you. Continue to press and do that which is required of you, and watch how the Lord prepares your blooms for your season of abundance.
May the Lord continue to be your strength and guide as He refreshes you with His lilies of peace.
