Serving God requires discipline and a desire to be free from sin. It calls us to a new place of identity to: 1) speak with the words of God, and 2) serve with the strength of God.
It causes us to question our earthly motives and lay them aside for the will of God to be lifted up. It also requires a faithful commitment to constantly respond with vigilance to the needs of Christ versus the self-serving desires of our flesh.
When we make the choice toward God, our souls become responsive to His will made perfect in us:
Let us commit ourselves to our faithful Creator, always doing good, and taking joy in our gifts used for His purpose.
How will you use your gifts to serve as a faithful steward of God’s grace?
