You could feel the quiet calm of the Lord all throughout this day: the atmosphere was calm; it was quiet; and it was peaceful.
I didn’t want it to end.
Amid the quiet calm of the day was the Lord’s bountiful peace and space to move with precision while experiencing the purity of His atmosphere.
In the Lord’s quiet presence, I was able to get things done. I noticed Him in little areas: in the reflecting glow of the sun, in the blessed aroma of the air, in the cool breeze of the wind.
I took time to really take it all in, then I welcomed the quiet calm of the Lord in: with obedience, I put my mind, heart, and hands to work on those things God had led me to, and I experienced His resonating peace in every area of the day.
The Lord’s quiet calm presents in beautiful ways: how will you choose to welcome Him in?
