“Yes” was all around us in so many ways today, so we took time to celebrate. And that we did.
We like to celebrate, and today was for good reason. You see, about three weeks ago, I put some things before God and asked that every one of them be returned with a “yes.” Some things took time to come full circle. But the Lord put an unexpected expedient “Yes” in front of us today because of our presentation to Him and because of our obedience.
So, now, we walk forward in that God-answered “YES!”
As I reflect upon this year, the outcome of strength, self-esteem, passion, and righteousness could have been lost.
But I’m glad in God’s saving grace and for a husband that lifted me up and encouraged me in tender spaces of self-reflection, fear, and healing.
I am motivated; yes, that’s one of my assets. But I am motivated to activate with fervor assets that help to increase us in this new season ahead, assets that respond to God’s blessed calling even in the now.
So now we walk…walk forward in those God-answered “YES”es as we begin to walk in and fulfill His covenant promise with us.
