Focus on the positive.
Sometimes we can be so consumed with what’s left to be done that we miss opportunities to celebrate what we actually have accomplished.
In the process of creating the earth, God took a moment to reflect on each day’s work; He did not overwhelm Himself with what was to come. He honored the work that was completed before Him on each day.
In our day-to-day, we must approach and reflect on things in the manner that God did in His creative process. Honor and celebrate the tasks that you have made progress on, and do not condemn yourself for not yet arriving at what lies ahead.
This was my lesson for today. As I work through God’s designed process of my gaining new strength each day, I am able to complete what is set before me – and today I did just that.
So when things present themselves to confuse you or to disrupt the positive reflections of what you’ve worked so hard to accomplish, remember that today’s accomplishments are enough. Allow God to orchestrate the morrow’s process as you honor and reflect upon what was accomplished today.
