I’d planned the perfect approach to a week full of changes that I knew were only brought on by God – a confirmation of His intimate communication in our lives in the season leading up to this one.

As this week comes to a close, I realize that I’ve experienced many different things: gladness, joy, peace, excitement, frustration, quietness, tiredness, reflection, self-affirmation, determination, rest…
In getting through to our newest season, the Lord walks us through the final stages of our prior one and gently leads us into our next. While we may have our way or approach to how we are going to “experience” and live out the transition, just remember that God may have a slightly different version that completes the mission as He would see fit. Remember, He is the author and finisher of our faith, and we are His faithful subjects (re: Hebrews 12:2).
